CALL 1-800-727-5482 FOR UPDATED SKI AND SNOWMOBILE REPORTS
TRAVERSE CITY – A solid cover of winter snow has arrived in Traverse City area, turning the hills and forests around Grand Traverse Bay into a wonderland for skiers, snowmobilers and other winter sports enthusiasts.
Since snow conditions in northern Michigan have a way of changing rapidly, the Traverse City Convention & Visitors Bureau decided to help spread the word by activating its winter “snow hotline” ahead of schedule. By dialing 1-800-727-5482, visitors can receive updated reports on snowfall amounts and current weather conditions in the Grand Traverse Bay region, as well as detailed information about downhill ski/snowboard runs, cross-country ski and snowmobile trails, skating rinks and other sport venues.
To make lodging reservations, request trail maps or obtain information about other events and attractions, visitors can still call the Bureau’s regular toll-free number, 1-800-TRAVERSE, or try their web site at www.VisitTraverseCity.com
